MEET THE FOUNDER
LENORA MAGEE
Lenora Magee is an educator and artist from Minneapolis, MN. She has been performing since 2003 and been a youth worker and educator since 2005. While receiving her bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, she served as President of artist coalition Voices Merging and helped run the largest open mic of the Twin Cities. In 2010, she served as a Teach for America Corps Member while receiving her Master's in education from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served 14 years as a classroom teacher and continues to work through Orisun as a community servant. .Enjoy her poetry, performances and essays here.
